We at the Jollibee Group have undergone a Materiality Process to prepare for our reports. We have conducted workshops, dialogues, and discussions to identify priority areas for our group and our stakeholders. Doing these activities have helped grow our business perspective and have allowed us to recognize our existing efforts on sustainability.
1. Understanding the Sustainability Context: Our Group has identified key opportunities where our business can create value in the economic, social, and environmental areas. This identification process has guided us in addressing our current and future challenges, as well as in establishing priorities.
2. Identifying Material Topics: We used the Sustainability Framework released by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a guide, which has allowed us to focus on corporate governance, resource and impact management, and contribution to sustainable development through our products and services.
3. Measuring Performance and Defining Management Approaches: Our Group obtained baseline data on each of the material topics identified, which includes substantial content on impacts, risks, opportunities and the subsequent management approaches.
