JFC Continues the use of solar panel in select Jollibee stores in the Philippines

As part of our thrust in treating the planet responsibly, we have several stores in Southern Luzon with installations of solar panels which reduce electricity consumption from non-renewable resources. These panels have a cumulative capacity of 200 kW and reduce consumption from the grid by 5-7% in each store. On average, we have the potential to avoid over 100 tonnes of carbon emissions and save over 230,000 kWh of energy annually through these installations.
In our latest installation last November 2021, a rooftop solar energy system was situated in the Jollibee Lam-an branch in Ozamiz City. We aim to continue with this initiative in the coming years.
