MAYFAIR, IL – (Sept 1, 2021) –Smashburger, the fast casual better burger restaurant, opens their third Chicago-area in seven months at the new Edens Collection shopping center in the city’s Far North Side located within Albany Park at 4709-N West Foster Avenue.

The menu features the brand’s signature Certified Angus Beef burgers smashed in the open kitchen easily viewable by customers in line, grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, turkey and black bean burgers and fresh crisp salads. Signature side items include Brussels sprouts and rosemary, garlic & olive oil SmashFries®. For a sweet treat, customers can also enjoy hand-spun milkshakes made with Häagen-Dazs® ice cream. Smashburger’s breakfast menu includes an Egg & Cheese Sandwich on toasted brioche served plain or with either bacon or sausage; a Breakfast Smashburger, topped with an egg, bacon and aged cheddar on toasted brioche, and Breakfast Tots.

To celebrate, the first 200 people that come through the door on opening day will receive Smashburger’s signature Backyard Seasoning containing their secret blend of spices to grill with at home – perfect for summer grilling season. Additionally, the first 100 customers in line will also receive a swag bag full of Smashburger goodies. Customers that visit the restaurant on September 1st will also be able to purchase a Single Classic Smash® Burger with regular fries for only $5 all day. On Thursday, September 2, the celebration continues with $5 single Bacon Burgers all day.

Interior elements of the space features an exposed kitchen with the grill as the main focal point. Dining seats are thoughtfully placed throughout the restaurant and offer a nod back to the brand’s Colorado roots, while also celebrating the Windy City by featuring artwork of Chicago’s cityscape. Wi-Fi and USB chargers will also be available.

The new location offers free delivery for orders placed between September 1st-14th on Smashburger.com as well as third-party delivery providers.
