Jollibee Group partners with LGUs to speed up vaccination of restaurant frontliners and help achieve herd immunity for the country.

MANILA, Philippines. Aug. 3, 2021 – The Jollibee Group recently partnered with the local government units of Antipolo, Caloocan, and Taguig to vaccinate over 700 restaurant frontliners working on-site in the cities’ Jollibee, Greenwich, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Burger King, and Red Ribbon stores.

In partnership with city government, 554 people from 83 Jollibee Group stores in Antipolo, Rizal were given free COVID-19 vaccines at the inoculation held from July 13 to 15, 2021. Meanwhile, through Taguig City’s #RoadtoZero Vaccination Program, 106 restaurant frontliners were vaccinated last July 24, and another 59 were inoculated last July 16 through the partnership with Caloocan City.

“The Jollibee Group will continue linking up with other local government units to optimize the available supply of vaccines in the country. We are happy to support these initiatives that will help keep people safe and protected,” said Pepot Miñana, Jollibee Group Chief Sustainability and Public Affairs Officer.

Early this month, the Company has also started rolling out its own #JabforJoy! Vaccination Program for its employees in the Philippines. The #JabforJoy! Vaccination Program will benefit teams from Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, Panda Express, PHO24, commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the Jollibee Group Foundation.
