Jollibee Group Opens 500th Store in Mainland China
Jollibee Group recently opened its 500th store in Mainland China with its Yonghe King branch in Shanghai’s Putuo Rong Chuang Xiang Yi luxury estate area.
SHANGHAI, China. March 31, 2023 – The Jollibee Group’s business hits another milestone as it opens its 500th restaurant in Mainland China. China is one of Jollibee Group’s pillar markets, where it operates three brands, namely Michelin-starred Tim Ho Wan; Yonghe King, famous for its meal sets and soya milk; and Hong Zhuang Yuan, best known for its congee meals. With the opening of its Yonghe King branch in Shanghai’s Putuo Rong Chuang Xiang Yi luxury estate area, Jollibee Group brings its store network in Mainland China to 424 Yonghe King, 58 Hong Zhuang Yuan, and 18 Tim Ho Wan stores as of February 2022.

Yonghe King’s new branch is near famous tourist attractions and iconic landmarks in the Putuo District, particularly Changfeng Ocean World International Theme Park. The said branch is Jollibee Group’s 103rd store in Shanghai, showcasing just how the restaurant company is successfully claiming stake in one of the most profitable parts of Mainland China. Shanghai remains as one of the world’s global financial hubs, as well as one of the world’s most populous cities.
Customers have been queuing up during breakfast and lunch hours to get a taste of Yonghe King’s best-selling Minced Pork Rice and Soya Milk, which are prepared fresh in store using non-GMO soybeans.
